Je parcours toujours avec joie et intérêt les billets de mes blogueurs préférés (ils sont plus assidus eux). Mais voilà aujourd’hui je sors de ma cachette pour donner des news et vous inviter à me suivre ailleurs.
D'abord, des nouvelles de moi (comme dirait Labrèche). À l'aube de la 50aine, j'ai fait une prise de conscience niveau santé. Les chiffres de ma pression sanguine me disaient qu'il était temps d'arrêter à jouer à l'autruche et de perdre du poids. Voilà c'est fait. Des "tites" photos et des chiffres:
Dans mon plan de maigrissure, j'avais planifié faire un potager pour mieux manger. Ce que j'ai fait, mais le principal problème que j'ai rencontré dans sa planification est que partout sur le terrain il n'y a pas assez de soleil, sauf sur le devant de la maison.
Bien voilà, me voici rendu avec un potager devant la maison. En plus de beaux légumes, j'ai du social à la tonne avec les voisins et passants.
J'en serais bien resté là, à cultiver mon jardin bien heureux, mais quelque temps après avoir commencé à planter mes légumes, j'ai appris que la ville de Drummondville, avec un projet de fusion de règlements, allait dorénavant interdire les potagers sur les devant de maisons.
Voilà, j'ai fait un autre blog et tente de sensibiliser pleins de gens à l'agriculture urbaine... et pourquoi pas sur les devants de maison. Ensemble, j'espère que nous ferons avancer les choses à Drummondville côté potager.

Faut vraiment pas avoir la même vision et vraiment vouloir homogénéiser tout le monde pour vouloir que tous soient pareil et ti-mouton dans le moule.

Je vais travailler à changer la vision de nos élus sur le sujet. Je trouve également inconcevable qu'un geste aussi écologiquement responsable qu'un potager devant une maison ne puisse trouver sa place à l'heure actuelle dans nos villes, en autant que ça soit bien fait et entretenu, comme n'importe quelle autre végétation.

Comme j'en suis à ma première expérience avec un potager, et que j'ai changé un brin mon alimentation (j'évite les hydrates de carbone) je commence, sans tomber dans la redondance, à ne plus savoir comment cuisiner, transformer et conserver tous ces légumes du potager. Si ça te tentait je ferais surement appel à tes ressources et ingéniosité pour me guider. Je ferai mon prochain billet sur mon blogue avec la composition de mon potager, incluant l'avancement des légumes.
Je consulte aussi le blogue de Jasmine (je suis au jardin). Tous vos blogues sont une mine d'or pour des petits jardiniers enherbe comme moi.
L'an prochain je pensais m'initier à la culture des champignons... reste pas loin de ton ordi :-)

Moi je ne suis pas une abonnée aux régimes et je préfère les changements en douceurs je crois qu'ils permettent au corps de s'adapter tranquillement. Pis ce que la vie m'a toujours montrée depuis vingt-cinq ans c'est que si je veux perdre du poids, j'ai juste à recommencer à faire 30 minutes d'exercice par jour... Alors moi aussi j'ai fondu, mais échelloné sur un an ;)

J'ai vu certaines de vos conversations effectivement sur le forum de notre ami. Je ne m'y suis pas investis par manque de temps, mais il va de soi que ce sera ma première source le temps venu. Vous savez, toi Vincent et bien d'autres blogueurs êtes de ces gens qui font la beauté et la grandeur d'internet. J'espère qu'on vous l'a dit souvent, car vous avez aidé et inspiré beaucoup de personnes à mon avis.
Pour les régime je suis à 100% d'accord avec toi. Je ne suis pas un exemple à suivre. Mais je n'en suis pas à mon premier régime et, pour moi, il m'est assez facile de fonctionner ainsi. Mais je ne conseille pas de perte de poids rapide comme ça à personne.
Tu as tellement raison pour l'esthétisme. Tout étant relatif on ne devrait pas être contrait de jouer les moutons à ce niveau. De plus, ce genre d'usage et aménagement (un potager comme le notre) devient de plus en plus populaire un peu partout dans le monde.

Pour l'instant j'en suis à essayer de trouver un format à l'information que je veux diffuser sur mon site; exemple:(truc d'aménagement de potager, sensibilisation écologique, potager VS gazon, avantage d'avoir son potager, etc.)
J'aimerai pourvoir sensibiliser les gens ainsi que de les informer à plusieurs niveaux.
Pensez-vous qu'on pourrait faire une branche à votre forum pour y inclure le sujet des potagers en milieu urbain dans laquelle les gens pourraient donner des trucs, des liens et des idées de billets afin que j'arrive à m'organiser et devenir plus efficace?
C'est un nom de domaine distinct (mais semblable ;) ) à celui de Vincent. On y est administrateur au même titre lui et moi, on a organisé ça ensemble en juillet dernier. C'est juste que Vincent a choisi de ne plus permettre de commentaire sur son blog et de répondre uniquement sur le forum. Ça permet aussi aux autres qui connaissent la réponse de le faire ou de diriger les nouveaux sur les billets appropriés du blog à Vincent. (il vient moins grognon, bougon!!!)... Sur mon blog, j'ai la pub-bannière cliquable pour le forum en haut à gauche. Et les commentaires sont toujours autorisés sur mon blog... par contre je mets aux 2 endroits mes billets se rapportant aux conserves-maison.
Pour l'instant, je pensais à montrer ton projet en ouvrant un sujet sur la terrasse du forum...
Ce que je vois, c'est que la culture, de façon globale, intéresse pas mal les canneux. C'est un peu normal quand même! Et souvent les gens y montrent des liens sur des idées de potager communautaire ou discutent culture ou bien quand dénicher les "plantes sauvages" par opposition aux "plantes domestiquées".
Je crois que ton projet est un exemple qu'on peut montrer dans l'ensemble des façons de faire un potager. Tous n'ont pas la même réalité, alors il faut un peu de tout, plusieurs option pour faire chacun un choix éclairé. Je crois sérieusement que tu as réfléchi et choisi une excellente option pour ton emplacement. Pour moi c'est ça l'important, réfléchir à notre environnement immédiat et trouver la meilleur solution pour notre situation... Chaque situation étant unique et demandant sa propre solution :)

Pour ma part j'ai une couple d'idées de billets en banque et désire en mettre un au deux à trois jours. J'y expliquerai entre autre mes motivations et raisons d'un tel potager.
